100 Coloradans Join Jason Crow, Rep. Seth Moulton to Discuss Solutions to Nation’s Gun Violence Crisis
Aurora – One hundred Coloradans packed the Aurora Association of Realtors last night for a town hall discussion with Jason Crow, Democratic nominee for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District, Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA), and other political candidates and community activists. Members of the community asked unfiltered questions of the panelists, focusing on keeping children safe from our nation’s gun violence crisis and fighting for bold legislative solutions in Washington and Colorado.
“I’ve had enough of empty promises and failed leadership from the politicians we trust to keep us safe,” said Jason Crow. “Inaction is not an option. It’s time for commonsense gun violence solutions that can build broad coalitions and move our country forward.”
Additional panelists included Joe Neguse, Democratic nominee for Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District; Tom Sullivan, candidate for HD-37; Sandy and Lonnie Phillips, Founders of Survivors Empowered; Tay Anderson, Former President of Never Again- Colorado; and Jane Dougherty, activist and sister of Sandy Hook shooting victim.
