First-Time Candidate Jason Crow Builds Momentum, Raises Nearly $370,000 in Pre-Primary Period
Aurora, CO – Today, Jason Crow, a decorated former Army Ranger, father, veterans’ advocate and candidate for Congress in Colorado’s 6th Congressional District announced that he will report $369,775 in total receipts for the pre-primary report covering April 1st through June 6th. Crow, who has pledged to not accept a dime of corporate PAC money, raised 95% of those funds from individual donors.
Crow will end the reporting period with $921,196 cash on hand. He has raised $1,629,357 to date from nearly 6,000 individual donors.
“I’m humbled by the grassroots support from Coloradans who are ready for new leadership that puts them first,” said Crow. “In the Army, I learned to lead by example. That’s why I’m not taking a dime from corporate PACs. The people of the 6th District deserve a leader who will fight for them in Washington and get results.”
Crow has also received a number of endorsements locally and nationally. These include former Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Senator Mark Udall, Governor Bill Ritter, Congressman Seth Moulton, Mayor Wellington Webb, Giffords, End Citizens United, Colorado Education Association, Pipefitters Local 208, Colorado AFL-CIO, VoteVets, Council for a Livable World, New Politics, former Colorado Political Director for Bernie Sanders for President JoyAnn Ruscha, State Board of Education Member Rebecca McClellan, and County Commissioners Eva Henry, Bill Holen, Steve O’Dorisio, and Chaz Tedesco.
