Retired Army Ranger endorsed by nonpartisan Foreign Policy for America Action Network

June 18, 2018
Aurora, CO – The Foreign Policy for America Action Network has endorsed Jason Crow for the race in Colorado’s 6th Congressional district, the political action committee announced today.

“Jason Crow is an extraordinary leader. He served our country with honor in the 82nd Airborne Division and the 75th Ranger Regiment. When he returned home he fought for the rights of servicemembers and veterans in Colorado.” said Andrew Albertson, Executive Director of Foreign Policy for America. “We need men and women of character today to serve in Congress, and to stand up to President Trump – and that’s why we’re so excited to endorse Jason Crow. He’s just the kind of leader we need to restore principled American leadership at home and abroad.”

“As a combat veteran, I understand the importance of establishing a consistentforeign policy that’s worthy of both our armed forces and the American families they protect,” said Crow. “It’s time to reestablish thoughtful dialogue and productive relationships with our allies, and I look forward to highlighting my ideas alongside FPAAN and other leaders throughout this campaign.”

Before college, Crow enlisted in the National Guard. He served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, attaining the rank of Captain, and was awarded a Bronze Star. He sat on the Colorado Board of Veterans’ Affairs where he made positive changes to the epidemics of veteran homelessness and substance abuse.  Currently, Crow is an attorney specializing, in part, in business compliance and helping small and large businesses grow. He has advised state and federal officials on national security, military, and veterans issues.

Crow joins Lauren Baer (FL-18), Rep. Salud Carbajal (CA-24), Rufus Gifford (MA-3), Ken Harbaugh (OH-7), Andy Kim (NJ-3), Tom Malinowski (NJ-7), Amy McGrath (KY-6), Gina Ortiz Jones (TX-23), Rep. Jacky Rosen (NV), Elissa Slotkin (MI-8), and Nancy Soderberg (FL-6) as candidates for Congress endorsed by the Foreign Policy for America Action Network in the 2018 election cycle.
