Jason Crow Releases Third General Election TV Ad, Highlighting Need for A New Generation of Servant Leadership

“I look at D.C. right now, and I see how out of step it is with everything I learned about leadership in the Army.”

Aurora, CO – Former Army Ranger and first-time candidate Jason Crow released his third television ad of the general election today, highlighting his call for a new generation of servant leadership that puts Coloradans first. In the ad, “Step,” Crow shares what he learned about leadership through his service as an Army Ranger who led over 100 combat missions, earning him a Bronze Star, and the need for that style of servant leadership in Washington.

“You have to practice servant leadership. You lead by example,” says Crow in the ad. “You eat last in the field. And when you’re jumping out of a plane, you jump first. Always remember who it is you serve – who it is you’re working for.”

Crow is running in Colorado’s 6th Congressional District to unseat career politician Rep. Mike Coffman. He is refusing to take any campaign dollars from corporate PACs – a far departure from Coffman, who has received nearly $2 million from corporate PACs in his career, while voting with President Trump 96% of the time.

Transcript:

I look at DC right now, and I see how out of step it is with everything I learned about leadership in the Army.

I was a Captain leading large units, but I always thought about what it felt like when I was Private Crow.

You have to practice servant leadership. You lead by example.

You eat last in the field. And when you’re jumping out of a plane, you jump first.

Always remember who it is you serve – who it is you’re working for.
