Jason Crow Statement on Sexual Violence Allegations Against Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh
Aurora – Former Army Ranger and first-time candidate Jason Crow today responded to the growing number of sexual assault accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and President Trump’s dismissal of allegations by Colorado resident Deborah Ramirez.

“I stand with the women bravely coming forward to share their stories. The allegations made by Ms. Ramirez and Professor Christine Blasey Ford are deeply troubling, and must be fully investigated before any further action is taken on Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation. I’m also troubled by the reaction to these allegations from President Trump and his allies in Congress – who have dismissed, excused, or downplayed their stories in the name of politics.
“If leaders in control of Washington lack the moral courage to put partisan politics aside and treat Ms. Ramirez and Professor Blasey Ford with respect, then it’s time to bring in a new generation of leaders who will.”
